sleepy

wow...this has been a whirlwind of a week.  Last Saturday Brother Windhorst called to set up an appointment.  He came over and talked with Jeff and me.  I am now called to be the 1st Counselor in the East Stake Primary Presidency.  (y'know...I'm so tired I think I'll blog later. )  I'm really happy to be serving again!
Tomorrow is a Spring Clean-up @ Farrer.  I need sleep.  g'night.

oh yeah, Some of the "5 Brown's" moved in next door....cool cars---a green mini Cooper, and a white BMW convertible.

ha

Right at this moment April, Maya, and June are playing together. Does anyone else think that's funny?  I sure do.
I was able to meet with the Bonneville Stake's New Primary President.  She will be FANTASTIC!!!  It's been a little sad  (ok MORE than a little) leaving this calling, probably because it has been such a fun calling.  The ladies I've worked with are so inspiring!!!  I'll miss the times we've had serving together for a greater cause.  I'm less sad because I know the ladies who are called to serve now will do a fabulous job. All Kanani, Lisa, Margaret & I  worked for will go on and become even better!!!  I am so thankful that I've been able to serve as an instrument in the Lord's hands.  I pray that I'll be able to serve more and more--wherever the Lord can use me.  I truly mean that!!!!    :o)

Weight a minute...wait a minute

Less than 6 hours of sleep and more than 9 puts you at high risk for obesity.  So THAT's it!!! I must sleep too long--NOT!!!  I realize that having my children spread over the ages...(preschool to college) is detrimental to my health, but what are you going to do?  Have lots of naps?  That sounds good!!!!  I Love our babies...(once my baby, always my baby...) but I guess I shouldn't be SO attached to the baby fat.  For goodness sakes our babiest baby is 5.  I've got to get rid of the extra chub!!!
On another lack of sleep issue:  Tomorrow is the school carnival.  It's supposed to rain.  I'd like to get a couple of 9-hour chunks of sleep and miss the entire event (could that make me lose weight?).  I'm afraid it won't be that easy.  I'm the PTA President and I can't just hide for this.  I'm so glad there are lots of wonderful people helping with it.
Today I open the computer class doors (Waterford will be there for "end of year" testing the children.)  Lila has an appointment for a check-up on her 1-week-ago-broken-foot.  I need to take soup to the Middle School for the Teacher Appreciation Lunch. Those 3 things are about 10 miles apart and need to happen approximately in the same hour.  I need to condense my talk from Stake Primary Training and send it to Margaret so she can finish our last Newsletter and get it distributed....AND there's a Commissioner Meeting tonight @ Roundtable.  Kanani and I will be teaching a class.  It'll help fulfill part of one of my Woodbadge tickets.
I need to get away from this computer, start the soup, and get kidlets ready for school.  I love life.  I wonder if  this busy-ness is ALSO on the "high risk for obesity" list? duh!!!

Monday Monday

Last night I got a chance to meet the Stake Leaders from Provo East Stake.  They are all a bunch of fine dedicated people.  I got to talk most with the Primary people.  They have many good things lined up!  I do, however, admit I'm a little concerned with the Scouting program.  I want what is the best for the boys.  Everyone seemed open for suggestions.  I don't want to step on toes and impose ideas...but I've just come from an exceptionally run Scouting program and I saw how well it went.  hmmm... it's time to get the shoes on and jaunt over to school.  It's our Carnival this Friday.  I hope it will go well!
